How It Works in more detail:

The license of use:
We are granting you a permanent worldwide mechanical / synchronisation license to use a purchased track for the category of production (see Rate Card).
You do not have to pay any further royalties to anyone.
This is often confusingly called "Royalty Free"
It is not totally "Royalty Free" as the broadcaster will still pay performance royalties, but not you the program maker.
In order for the author / composer to get those roylaties, all you must do is fill out a cue sheet and send it with the production to the broadcaster. Most broadcasters will request this document anyway.

Registration:

You can search, browse and audition any track from our whole library before registering.
However, You will need to register as either a Level 1 or a Level 2 user and log in before you can download.

Level 1 users can pay on account, i.e. they do not have to pay by credit card before they can download.
This will mostly suit larger production facilities, where the person doing the downloads, isn't paying the bills.
Credit terms for Level 1 users are strictly 30 days.

Level 1 users can pay from their user area by credit card, at any time, if they wish.

Level 2 users must pay for any track at the checkout before they can download.
This will suit smaller production facilities or individuals.

Students and Charities
Film / Media Students and charities can download for free.
Just use the category 5 pulldown at the checkout / cart window.
N.B. if using this category, you must let us know by contacting us, before downloading, to ask permission and you will still have to register.

Registered Users:

Once you have registered, you will be assigned your own personal user area on the site.
Every time you log-in, you will be taken to your area.
In this area will be listed all the tracks that you have downloaded and your statement of account.

You will have a time limit of 60 days to make any repeat downloads from this area.
